Hair cuts and colours: 1. Where are you based?I am from the Durham city area and will travel anywhere in Durham and the surrounding villages eg, Chetser-Le-Street, Consett, Newton Hall, Langley Park, Belmont. I will travel to Houghton Le Spring areas too. Call me and I'll let you know. Anywhere within 20 miles of Durham will be fine...although I may need directions! 2. Do you have the colours with you?I only use professional products when colouring. I have lots of colour charts for you to look at to ensure we get the desired look. These are all the colours and types that you could ask for. I carry most colours with me and I can carry out a consultation over the phone. If you are unsure I can come to your home for a free consultation to discuss this and show you the charts. Generally a phone call to arrange your appointment is all that is required. 3. Do you do colour correction?I would recommend that major colour correction is carried out in a salon. I will be happy to consult and advise depending on what the problems is. Some of the processes required for this are better carried out in a salon where there are a large range of products available. 4. What items will I need to provide?Water and an electric point. I bring all colours, electrical equipment, gowns, towels, L'oreal shampoo, conditioner and styling products. 5. How will you wash my hair?I have a special back wash that I will bring with me. No need to tip your head over the bath! You will get the full salon treatment with relaxing head massage when I wash your hair. If you only require a cut you may wish to wash your hair before I get there. If so ensure that you use conditioner and keep the hair nice and wet for my arrival. 6. How do I pay?I accept cash and cheques supported by a valid cheque guarantee card. 7. Are you a qualified hairdresser?Yes. I have a National Vocational Qualification in hairdressing (this is the national standard) that was obtained at the renowned Saks Academy. I am fully insured and can provide references if requested.
