In fact, the extensions stay as long as the lashes stay in your eyelids. The procedure is detailed and sensitive, making it impossible to be done alone. Experienced hands have to do it for you to achieve the fuller looks you want. Don’t worry, it’s all worth it.  ABOUT EYELASHES

The human eyelash grows between 6-9mm in length and they are located on distinct rows on the eyelid

There are about 90-160 eyelashes on the upper eyelid and about 75-80 eyelashes on the lower eyelid

The eyelash grows for about 30 days and then rests for the remainder of its life. The average lifespan of the eyelash is about three months

WHAT TYPE OF LOOK CAN I HAVE?

NATURAL LOOK; 25 – 30 extensions per eye

GLAMOROUS LOOK; 35 – 40 extensions per eye

GETTING THEM FITTED

You will have to keep your eyes closed for up to two hours....and no talking as this moves the eye pads upwards and can cause discomfort

The best place to carry out this treatment is on a bed with your head at the foot end

Ensure that contact lenses are removed

Ensure that you have not used any oil based products near you eyes

Remove all eye makeup

Each individual extension is attached to an individual eyelash using a special glue

I will open your eyelid gently, every so often, making checks

You should not feel anything

AFTERCARE ADVICE

FOR THE FIRST TWO HOURS – Do NOT allow water to contact the eyes

FOR THE FIRST TWO DAYS – Do NOT wash eyes or lashes with hot water or allow steam on the face

Avoid swimming/jacuzzi/steam bath and sauna

THEREAFTER

Do NOT cover the eyelash area as this may cause them to curl/break or overlap each other

Do NOT use eye makeup remover at all; this can cause the lash extension adhesive and extended lashes to weaken and fall out

Do NOT use any products near the eyes that contain oil eg; moisturiser/eyecream

EYE MAKEUP

Use your normal eye makeup EXCEPT;

Use only WATER SOLUBLE MASCARA; Do NOT apply mascara on the adhesive area as mascara remover will weaken the bonding of the lash extension procedure

Only use Mascara and eyeliner that is water soluble; this can be purchased from me on the day of the treatment

TOP UPS

You must ensure that you take care of your eyelash extensions and book regular maintenance sessions. These are charged at £18.00 and will take 30 minutes to 1 hour. You should have these every 3-4 weeks depending on the look

After 4 weeks you will be charged for a full set at £50
