Brazilian Intelligent Brush is an innovative keratin hair treatment complex that restores health to damaged hair, reducing volume and eliminating frizz, making the hair manageable, silky and shiny. The base of our treatment is natural keratin, the structural protein of the skin, nails, and hair. Keratin is a natural substance that enables damaged hair to return to its original healthy, shiny, and smooth state. Our keratin hair treatment complex revitalizes all types of hair without damaging or changing its texture, and can be safely applied even to hair that has been chemically treated, such as colored, permed, relaxed, highlighted or bleached.

1. What is  Brazilian Intelligent Brush?
Rio-Keratin Brazilian Intelligent Brush is an innovative Keratin hair Treatment Complex that restores health to damaged hair, reducing volume and eliminating frizz and making the hair manageable. It will also straighten the hair and will leave it with a silky and shiny look.

2. How long will the Rio-Keratin Brazilian Intelligent Brush effect last?
The average time is about 90 days, depending on the condition of the hair, on the way the treatment was done, on the maintenance process after the treatment, and on the number of washes.

3. What types of hair can receive the Brazilian Intelligent Brush?
Any type of hair, regardless of its condition and whether it has been colored, chemically treated, permed or straightened. In fact, the treatment effect lasts longer in previously chemically treated hair than in virgin hair.

4. How often should the Rio-Keratin Brazilian Intelligent Brush be done?
Normally every 3 or 4 months, as needed. Depending on the type of hair, it can be done monthly, or even after 15 days if required. However, the minimum interval should be at least 30 days.

5. What kind of care should the client take following the Keratin treatment?
During the first three or four days following the Keratin treatment the client should not tie the hair in a ponytail or otherwise. The hair should remain loose during this period. Also, swimming in the ocean or swimming pool should also be avoided. The use of gels, spray, mousse and other chemical products should also be avoided during the first few days.

6. Can the hair be dyed after the treatment?
Yes, but I recommend to wait at least 2 to 3 weeks after the treatment. Preferably, the Keratin treatment should be done after the hair has been dyed.

7. Are there dangers in using the Rio-Keratin treatment?
No, there are not. Risks associated with the Brazilian Keratin Treatment are due to excessive amounts of formaldehyde. The Rio-Keratin Intelligent Brush does not contain formaldehyde.

8. How long does the treatment take?
The first part of the process involves washing the hair with a special shampoo. The hair is then dried and the Rio-Keratin treatment applied, left for about 30 minutes then straightened. The hair should then be left and a further mask applied within 2 days. Clients will be given a maintenance pack with the treatment which they should use on their hair in order to keep it healthy, shiny and straight. This pack is included in the price and consists of shampoo, conditioner and serum.
